The “RC” furler : easy installation

The continuous line headsail furler can be fitted either on a rigging screws or an eye+link plate terminal. Indeed, the ring system at the bottom of the furler allows an easy and quick access to the forestay terminal for a simple check or an slight adjustment.  Especially, this will be usefull for the forestay adjustment when racing. The ring system fixes the forestay separately from the furler so that you can access to the bottom forestay without removing the fixation screw of the forestay (see on the drawing attached the 2 separate fixation screws).  Moreover, the ring system allows an extra articulation in the furler, which prevents the bearings from wearing prematurely and protects the forestay.
